Title: 27" Toshiba A68LTF356X tube and WG d9200 chassis?
Post by: Ptaz on February 01, 2016, 11:39:40 am
Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows if a Toshiba A68LTF356X or SANWA 29PF31 tube would be compatible with a WG d9200 chassis? I currently have a Thomson tube but it has really bad burn and I was looking to swap with either the Toshiba or Sanwa tube I have laying around in my basement I'm just not sure if it would work. If these aren't compatible would anyone know what tubes would be good candidates for a d9200 or a particular TV I could find and steal the tube out of? The size is 27".

Thanks for your time...

there is 1 most important rule in this matter..
THE YOKE,the yoke that came with the d9200 or what ever doner chassic must match :impedance: both horz and vert
this rule is almost never broken,so in short if the donnar tube has the same :pinout: as the 1 you are going to replace ?
then take the d9200 and YOKE and it will work on the doner tube

the D9200 uses a pretty odd yoke and a chassis that was tuned for that yoke.

assuming the tube is of the same deflection angle as the original tube, you can swap the yoke. otherwise no... it won't work, and your chassis will blow up and die if you "just try" it.

most color tubes are pinned out pretty much the same, some are dula focus arrangement others single focus. otherwise the pinouts are the same.

it's the deflection yoke that is different and they vary WILDLY.
