Hi
I'm getting a strange over-brightness/blooming on my monitor (Hantarex MTC9000) since upgrading to CRT emudriver v2. I realize this issue is unlikely to be caused by CRT emudriver itself, but wondered if anyone else has the same issue with a similar setup to mine? My monitor is connected via a JPAC.
At first, I figured it must be down to no longer using a VGA cable with resistors to force monitor detection, so I turned down the screen drive pot (on the back of the flyback) as well as the brightness preset pot on the chassis. I also turned down the RGB cutoff and gain pots to a minimum, on the neck card. Although this had the expected affect of darkening the screen, the white areas still bloom and bleed badly (see pic). Most noticeable on the scrollbars.
If I use my old cable (with the resistors), it's fine, but I'd rather not use that as it causes other issues I won't go into here. The JPAC has a video amp so wondered if this is causing it?
Anyone else had this issue or can suggest a solution? It's got me scratching my head as there aren't any other controls on my monitor that I can adjust.
Thanks.

You need to adjust the contrast pot, it's on the chassis left corner, looking from the back.
