No, sorry, I'm not giving away games. Rather, seeing who else grew up poor and depended on free games?
Lucky Charms had a deal where send in 5 UPC symbols (and maybe a couple dollars for SH...can't remember) and get a free cartridge. I believe that they had 4 or 5 to pick from...we got them all (and ate a LOT of Lucky Charms in the process)
Anyone else remember that?

The M Network released a Atari 2600 Kool-aid Man Game that was initially UPC/mail order only.

I was always many years behind the consumer curve, so when I did have consoles, the games were already several years old and available cheaply enough that I could save up and get one.

While my memory sucks on most useful knowledge items, I had a steel trap that could remember what every kid in my small town class had in his 2600 library. I organized a game swap group where people could exchange games with each other for a week or two, all kept track in my little 5th grade notebook.
