Hello everyone Im new to this hobby and was considering taking out a bad monitor on my arcade and replacing it with a computer monitor. I came across this RGB to VGA converter and considered it a good option. I know in order to install power this I need to connect the black wire to the ground on my switching power supply but:
1.) Where do I connect the +5VDC red wire? That spot is already taken by the JAMMA harness to power the PCB. Is this going to work if I connect it to the same spot? If not what are my options? Thank you.

Hi and welcome to forums! You can safely connect the red wire to the +5v on the power supply along with the JAMMA wiring with the PCB. In my cabinet, I connected the ground that's right next to it for the black wire. Nice and simple and you should see the LED lit on the converter when you turn it on. It doesn't take much power so should not affect voltages.
As an added precaution, you can always use a multimeter to adjust knob on the +5v on the switching power supply, but in this case I think you're fine.
