I want to have this (http://hico-srv004.pixhotel.fr/sites/default/files/gamoovernet/20110515213546-sentinelle-marqueedoubledr.JPG) printed locally in here in Nepal.
I imported it into photo shop and Illustrator and both say it's 98.167inch by 32.5inch. I need to get a handle on the size before I can
start building. Ideally I'ld have this printed up to help me plan. If it look good I may use it in the build if not I'Il order one.
If any one has just the the dimensions of the original marquee or better file than the one I found please let me know.
EDIT: I played around and looked on line. a with of 23 seem about right.

On eBay there is a seller at 100% feedback selling an ORIGINAL Double Dragon marquee. In the description it says lists the dimensions:
"Up for auction is this vintage original NOS 1987 Double Dragon arcade game marquee translite by Taito. It is 23" x 7"."
Maybe that'll help..

Are you opening it in a 300 PPI setting or the default 72 PPI ??? chances are the image is 300 PPI and you are opening it at 72 PPI which results in the dimensions being 4.16 times larger than it should be !
SO the image you have if opened in 300PPI rather than 72 PPI would be 23.56 x 7.8 inches !
98.167/300 * 72 = 23.56"
32.5/300 * 72 = 7.8"
So will be the proper 23x7 with a bit extra black border if you print it at 300 PPI !
