Hi Everyone!
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if someone can tell me if a " Capcom Final Fight" Jamma Board will power on with my 60 in 1 Jamma Harness and power supply box?
I have this Final Fight board from a Cabinet someone sold me, and need to see if it works, Can I use a Jamma Harness I have from the 60 in 1 Kit I purchased?
here is a picture of the Final Fight Board
Thanks.

Your 60 in 1 may have some ass backwards pinout, but if it's a standard Jamma harness it will work fine, and even if it's not it should be enough to determine if the board is working.

The KLOV entry here (http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7794) lists it as "Conversion Class: Capcom CPS JAMMA".
Look at page 2 of the manual here (http://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-videogames/F/Final%20Fight%20Operators%20Guide.pdf) for the pinout and compare it to the pinout on pg 5 of your x-n-1 manual.

How will people learn if you don't let them? Stop stifling the educational aspect. :duckhunt
Occasionally you will run into boards that require the -5V and loads of JAMMA cabs don't wire it, but this ain't one of those boards.

Haha, yeah, I knew someone was gonna say that. :)
Maybe Josh and I should do a JAMMA 101 video on the channel.... Hmmm
Yes, please get on that.

I would not permanently install any expensive board like Final Fight on the harness that came with a 60 in 1 kit. Chances are the power (and possibly ground) wires are not actually large enough gauge to be up to Jamma specifications and there could be some damage over time. The modern bootleg boards (like 60 in 1) draw a tiny fraction of the power that old boards used to draw so those crappy harnesses generally work for those boards without issue.
