Title: Sony KV-X2582U. service menu Underscan help

Hi Guys as the subject suggest does anyone have the knowledge on how I go about changing settings in the service menu to underscan this tv?

I take it nobody know then? please help I just need to know how to get into the service menu?

Tried display 5 vol+
tried holding 2 buttons on front panel

still I can't get into the service menu

Surely somebody on here know hows to get into the service menus on old sony crt tv
Sony tv kvx2582u Chassis be3b if that's any help

Search for the Service Manual online. Use the chassis or model number as your search term.

which remote control model does your sony tv use?

if it is the sony RM-886 remote control, perhaps try service menu method on page 28 here:

Thanks Adder it was 833 method. :applaud: That was a massive help pulled the screen in nice and easy with vsiz and v cen so it's as good as I can get it. However Donkey kong and 1943 are still missing top and bottom of picture  so I guess I'm back over to the Groovymame forum to change it with software? not ideal but most of the games I'm going to play are horizontal I only have about 3 games that are vertical So I don't mind compromising on them.
