Hi guys,
I wondered if any of you know of a place where I could purchase happ style concave pushbuttons with a backlit bezel, here in the UK? I love the buttons on GGG but these are flat/slightly convex and I much prefer concave plungers.
If these aren't available anywhere in the UK, maybe I can order from overseas?
Thanks a lot guys

I've done a search via Google images and found quite a few examples of them being used in other builds, so I'm assuming you can get them... Or folk are just cannibalising 2 different button types to achieve the same thing

You should email Randy at GroovyGameGear (assuming shipping won't be too much). I don't know if he sells the clear concave buttons with a different plunger or not, but I do know that he has clear concave buttons (ClassX I think). At the time I bought mine he was not selling a "combo" so I bought one clear button and one black button and combined them to my liking.
I don't know about a specific supplier in the UK, but iL (Industrias Lorenzo) also makes a clear button (http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/298-buttons-il-industrias-lorenzo (http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/298-buttons-il-industrias-lorenzo)). Since they are a European manufacturer, you might find it easier to get those in the UK..?
Good luck!

Hi mate, that's brilliant. Will investigate further :)
Edit: meant to say, can you actually combine 2 concave buttons relatively easily, without breaking either?
Thanks a lot

Yeah, excluding the spring, switch and LED, a button is just two pieces: Plunger & Housing. They come apart easily.

Im building my 5th cab and I plan to switch to convex buttons. All my cabs have concave buttons because I think they feel better.
But I noticed everyone is selling the convex ones now so I am going to try them :dunno
I could see where they would be faster.

Concave all the way. The best buttons to use for LED and concave are the happ translucent buttons.

Thanks for all the replies, guys.
I'm currently going through a new build project - actually, I'm outsourcing the build, but it's custom and my best friend is once again doing the control panel, side-panel and marquee art. Can't wait... Sold my old cab, Arc-Eden, back in 2010 and was truly gutted to see it go.
