Title: Need Help Converting Williams Joust Controller Panel to MAME 2 Player
Post by: hypergaming on January 15, 2016, 01:34:07 pm
(http://Hi Friends!!

I'm new here, glad someone referred me to this site, I can use some ideas.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to go about " converting " a Williams Joust Cabinet controller area to a 2 Player 6 button per player layout for use with MAME

The original Controller from the Joust Cabinet was originally converted to a Final Fight Controller Layout so there were holes all over the place and it cannot be re-used.

What I want to do, is to create a new controller panel, simple, but not sure how to do it, not sure if I should do it with wood, or buy a blank metal panel and drill my holes layout.

I'm new to the " building arcades " world but find it fun and would love to learn more.

if anyone has an idea on how to do this or where I can get a controller panel with pre-made holes, please reply to this post.

thanks!

What kind of help? AR you looking for someone to do the work or for help in selecting the number of buttons and joystick/button layout?

Here is a link for a multi-Williams CP (probably not what you are after):
