Title: Question about vertical Widescreen display
Post by: GNRFreak on January 03, 2016, 09:50:42 am
Is there any way to use the unused areas of a vertical widescreen monitor, maybe show marquees or other artwork?

Yes, you can put any graphics you want using .lay files. There is plenty of documentation on how to use these.  If you find one you like, you can just replace the graphics with what you want and make any adjustments.

SHould also be able to move the screen position so that the unused area is all above or below the game screen rather than on both sides if you wanted.

You may want to check out the "MameMarquees HQ" and "Custom Standard Cabinets Packs" in MAMELayPlus (http://mamelayplus.jimdo.com/descargas/).   ;D
