Just want to wish a Happy New Year to all my fellow Arcade Racing brothers. You guys rock!
This is one of the very few, if not the ONLY forum I know where we a bunch of guys share the same love and passion for old school arcade racers as I do. Here's hoping for great things in 2016!
OutRun 2
Daytona USA
Daytona 2
Scud Race
F-Zero GX
Ridge Racer series
Virtua Racing
Sega Rally Championship
We are blessed to have all of these great arcade racers emulated(well, not OR2 of course) and playable on our PCs, and I'm happy to be a part of this community!

Here here.
This year I hope to have my rigs assembled, linked and played :)

Well said Isamu . Happy (slightly belated) 2106 everybody!
Edit: Ooops, 2016 that should be.

Fzero gx is so badass.
It's one of the only games i actually get really excited playing. I love the speed of the game play and awesome tracks.

My new years resolution is to put a driving cab back together.... 8)

New years resolution, finish my arcade cabinet projects. If any of you are in the Los Angeles area and ever wanna meet up, lets start a club!

Excellent excellent posts guys. So glad to be among like minded friends. Shout out to everyone in the emulation and modding community for all the things they've contributed over the last few years. It goes without saying Howard, our resident Wizard and modding guru deserves mad props for coming back and continuing his work on the OutRun 2006 project. :notworthy: But others deserve honorable mentions as well....Bart, El Semi, Ville Linde, Nik, and Nuezxx. You guys rock! :notworthy:
And of course none of us would even be here without our arcade racing aficionado and head maestro.....Badmouth. Props to you Badmouth for suggesting they create this sub-forum and running it as smooth as you have over the last few years.
As for me, well you all already what my New Years Resolution is.... it's to simply get all my racing hardware components all setup on my rig and to get behind the wheel and start racing again after a BRUTAL 2 and a half year hiatus!!
I just recently sold my OSW Lenze Kit from Dennis Reimer for $2400USD to a local guy here in Los Angeles. I was all excited about using it until, well, a couple guys went on and on and ON about how great the SimSteering Version 2 FFB motor kit from Leo Bodnar is, and how smooth and super strong it feels, blah blah blah....So I couldn't help myself. I sold the Lenze and now I'm shooting for the stars!!! :lol The Bodnar wheel is the greatest wheel on Planet Earth and hopefully I'll be in a position to acquire one in a couple short months. To say I'm excited would be severe understatement! Word around town is that the wheel is so strong(peak torque is 30Nm!!), it'll break bones and snap wrists if you simply look at it the wrong way >:D :dizzy:
