When I try to run any opengl program I get a dialog box that says...
"LoadLibrary failed error 87: The parameter is incorrect."
Searching online suggested to rename "atig6pxx.dll" to "atig6pxx.dll.bak" in C:\Windoiws\System32 but that didn't fix anything. Both GL apps just crashed with no error message then.
Retroarch crashes with this error when the video driver is set to gl
I also downloaded a simple GPU Benchmark which also gives the same error.

When I ran the new vmmaker, it also removed my directdraw setting in my mame.ini, which if I am not misinformed, is still better in Windows 7???
I can get retroarch to 1.2.2 to work with the d3d driver, but the damn thing crashes everytime you exist, that's why I was using the gl driver, that worked fine.

I wonder if this error is related to my problems with certain Taito Type X games ???
-
Confirmed.
I've uploaded beta 2 version with fixed OpenGl support, the OpenGL benchmark tool now works here, haven't tested anything else. Thanks for reporting!
-
Seems to be a problem for certain Taito Type X games as well, thanks Calamity.
-
Calamity, is OpenGL ok in beta 4? Daphne using opengl right now crashes.

Did it work before?
-
Yes, it worked but only with previous driver 13.1. Didn't work with any beta.
EDIT.
Ok, Now I know why it worked in previous windows 7 installation - because I had previously installed 13.1. I simply removed 13.1 and start testing betas. On fresh installed system I started testing from beta 2.
I installed now 13.1 - daphne working.
Uninstalled 13.1 - didn't work.
Installed back 12.8 - daphne working.
Probably some files are missing in new drivers.

Thanks haynor666, good information. Indeed CRT Emudriver 2.0 is based on Windows default drivers which are a stripped off version. I'll need to re-add files.
