So I'm not sure where this post should go...,
I just finished a new arcade build using two u360's and I'm testing the software side now. I'm using mala and mame 1.67, the U360 also controls the buttons.
When playing mortal kombat using sub zero I am unable to do his slide move. According to game faqs, this move should be done by holding back + high & low kick. I'm not an mk noob and this is a move I can do on my other arcade machine that also has two older U360's.
Is there a setting I need to setup in mala? I thought I remember setting up the U360's to auto load joystick maps depending on the control type but I don't remember how it was done.

You remember correctly. Go to the MALA homepage, click on 'Plugins', scroll down to the bottom of the page, donwload 'UltraStik Mapper 1.3 by FatFingers' and install it. I'm not sure, but you probably will need the 'controls.ini' file in your mame directory for it to work.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

It worked although scrolling in mala seems to be really fast (I've changed the polling rate to help). And it does appear in a mortal kombat noob, sin zeros slide is back + low punch + low kick +block...doh!
