Hi guys
I'm after creating one of my favourite Star Wars cabinets. Due to costs etc... I wont be running original hardware, screen etc... but it seems that the only think I do need is a SW Yoke!!
Obviously read a few posts and finding them original is hard and a repro just as tricky!! Also being UK based doesn't help.
Is there anything I can do or should I just give up on the idea?

There is currently an active thread where a guy built a yoke setup from scratch. While it's not "pro" level, it is functional and looks pretty darn good. I'm too lazy to dig up a link though.

Type yoke here in the search window

The good news is that the yoke is much more rugged than the monitor, boardset, or cabinet.
Lots more yokes out there than working cabinets. ;D
Look into using a yoke from another game like Firefox -- electrically the same, but most Firefox yokes have far less wear and tear since they weren't used as much. Added bonus: you don't have to pay "Star Wars" prices. :lol
If you need an interface, check out reply #46 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,134781.msg1542677.html#msg1542677) in the KADESTICK link in my sig for a detailed how-to -- the yoke operates as an analog joystick.
