Title: Is this a good enough monitor for a standard cab?
Post by: Violineb on January 11, 2004, 12:35:52 am
I want to build a cabinet that doesn't cost too much and so I knew I had to choose between a TV or a PC monitor. I got reluctant with the TV choice because of overscan and other issues with the image quality of TV out when I tried on my 27 inch. All I wanted to know is if this is a good or bad price for a 21 inch monitor I found in the newpaper. It's a Viewsonic 21PS.

Seems that it is pretty old, as they came out in 1996 I think.....for $2000 :o I'm quite sure a 21 inch should do the job as far as size goes, just need to know if $90 is too much. K thanks :)

No, that's okay.  But don't do that.  There are always computer shows at the fairgrounds or conventions centers.  You can pick up a 17" for $20 or a big 20-21" for $75-150 depending on the type.

Go to the computer show and you might find all those goodies for the cab cheap.
