Title: Mame black screen only

Setting up a cab and put a fresh new version of Windows 7 on the computer and when I load mame or mameui it will only load a black screen.  I tried using direct draw instead of 3d in mameui and still no luck.. Any help please thanks

Since it's a fresh install it's probably missing directx9 runtimes.  Newer versions don't include the old runtimes.

Install both runtimes linked in the first post of this thread:
