Title: Need for speed underground pc won't let me choose graphics options
Post by: xenphor on December 11, 2015, 03:25:25 am
I'm trying to play nfs underground on the pc but everything defaults to low graphics settings and I can't change anything. The 3dsetup dialog menu only has options to change resolution and triple buffering. It doesn't even let me change the resolution either. Does anybody know how to fix this? I'm on windows 7 64bit with a 750ti.

So it's stuck at 640x480 and looks like this:

Just a shot in the dark, but try installing the directX9 runtimes linked to in the Model 2 setup guide sticky.

New versions don't contain the older runtimes which older games and emulators need.

You probably would have run into issues with emulators before now if you didn't have them, but it's worth a try.

This is not through emulation. It's the pc version.

...and it's an old game that probably used Directx9

I think you set the resolution inside the in-game options. The menu is usually at 640x480 if I recall correctly...

Ya I finally found the options in the display menu.
