Please help. Im new to Mala and have no idea what im doin wrong. I cant seem to get Layout to fit to my screen. Also videos wont work. Please help and thank you

MaLa always runs at whatever resolution your desktop is set to. What res is your desktop and what res is your layout?

I had problems with videos in MaLa until I installed the CCCP codecs:

So, you're using a widescreen monitor (16:9 ratio). The layout in that zip is 4:3 ratio, with a resolution of 1024x768, and isn't designed for use on a widescreen display.

If you want to use it, I suggest you load it into the MaLa layout editor and set it to a fixed sized, 1920x1080 layout. Then you will have to reposition and resize the layout elements to fit.

Installed that cccp file but videos still wont work?

Make sure you're using the latest version of MaLa (1.83 beta, I think). Earlier versions don't support mp4 videos, if that's what you're using.

Next issue - i generate a rom list in order of year made but when mala shows it its in alphabetical order. How do i make it list by year.
