Title: Pentranic 1425 need help please
Post by: newkid3 on December 06, 2015, 11:42:52 am
Hello all, i am new here. I hope someone here can help me on this monitor. It is a patranic 1425. It is in a golden tee 2004 cabinet. The guy that had it before said it worked fine until one day the monitor just quit working. So i recapped it. Now i get the picture but i can not get it to adjust out right. I have adjusted the remote board in every way possible. I have no luck. I am going to post a couple of pics. If anyone has any ideas of what could be my problem please let me know. Thanks

photo is too small for me to see but it looks like a sync or h.frequency issue, possibly even video ground

bad ground or bad sync connection. the jamma harness where it plugs onto the board is notorious for getting dirty intermittent contact. take it off and rub the "fingers" with a pencil eraser.

could also possibly be a dirty horizontal pot (either hold or position)

try cycling the adjustment back and forth a dozen or so times and see if it smartens up.
