Trying to find the power switch wires so I can make an external power button.. The switch is located in the front right behind that open area on the left side of the pic.. Any help again would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas

There's usually a header on the mobo where the power button (amongst other things) connects. Something like in this pic. Can't really see in your photo. What does the gray wire with black ends connect to?

Its most likely the grey wire with the black ends.
Worst case you can add a switch the the actual power button its self. Just take the front panel off. Check the solder points on the back of the power button panel.

That header that was mentioned is usually on one corner of the motherboard.
You're gonna have to get in there and move some crap around to find it.
You can simply take apart the front switch/panel and get to the cable.
If you know where the switch is, you know where the cable is
