Title: Kade wiring help
Post by: sin360 on November 29, 2015, 03:43:14 pm
Hello everyone

I need some help wiring my encoders to my control panel. So it's been a long time since I started on this project, but I though I had everything figured out last year.
Now that I started my wiring I'm a little lost. I think I don't have enough inputs which I though I had plenty when I bought my boards.
So here is what I have.
2 AVR boards
4 Player coin buttons which I wanted to dual as start and coin
4 Joysticks = 16 switches
Player 1 7 buttons
Player 2 7 Buttons
Player 3 4 Buttons
Player 4 4 Buttons
2 Admin buttons maybe hardware button for shifted functions
Total of 44

Players 1 & 2 have this set up
 567
 234
1

So can someone please point me in the right direction.
Thank You

Unless I'm imagining it, KADE has a mode where you can allow inputs based on "impossible" configurations.  Like button #7 can be wired in such a way to trigger P1 up & down simultaneously.  It works in such a way as to allow more inputs than normal...  Extended mode maybe?  Sorry I can't be more specific.

>40 inputs on 2 KADEs ==> KADE Extended Mode (http://kadevice.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=3310&p=6956#p5345).

Details, wiring diagrams, and photos in linked thread.

LMK if you have any questions.   ;D
