Hello everybody,
Long time lurker here. I really am needing your help. I just bought a PC and a Radeon 4350 (this one) (http://www.ebay.es/itm/Carte-graphique-Sapphire-PCIexpress-Radeon-HD4350-512MB-VGA-DVI-HDMI-/252103590421?hash=item3ab28b8215:g:9koAAOSwhAZWBWEG) to use the amazing CRT Emudrivers and connect my PC to a Sony BVM. But every time I try the installation, I get the following message from the Device Driver Installation Wizard:
Some drivers were successfully installed on this computer. Some could not be installed...
Driver Name Status
._c7134662.inf Install Failed
._c8134662.inf Install Failed
._ch134662.inf Install Failed

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Display (02/17/2013 8.970.100.7000) Not needed (No device for update present)
Then when I click "Finish" I get:
No driver package was installed.
196608 driver packages could not be installed
Of course I deleted all previous traces of drivers, and ran the installer as administrator. I'm getting the same errors every time. Any help or ideas would be hugely appreciated.

Hi HelloComics,
Sorry for my late answer. Are you sure TESTSIGNING got enabled in your system? It might require a restart before the driver can actually get installed. Check the video card properties in device manager, when the driver is installed you'll read "Calamity" somwhere.

No worries, Calamity
Yes, TESTSIGNING is enabled and I followed every step on your documentation.
The error message persists, but despite that I got the drivers to work on my system.
For anyone having a similar issue with this Sapphire Radeon 4350, these are the only steps that worked for me:
- Enter Windows 7 Test Mode
- Uninstall all previous drivers and restart.
- Let Windows detect the new hardware (video card) and let it install the Standard VGA drivers.
- Install Calamity's modified drivers on top, telling Windows to replace any files when prompted.
- Click finish and let the error message appear
- Make sure not to turn TESTSIGNING off again
The card reads "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4300 Series" in the device manager. Under it's properties it says "Digital Signer: Calamity".
Now ArcadeOSD finds the CRTEmuDriver 1.2 and I can change to any resolution from my list :applaud:
Thanks for this awesome piece of software, Calamity. I'm having an amazing time reliving the old classics on a CRT. Gracias!
