Getting tired of having to tighten my balltops every other minute.
What do you guys use?
Im thinking blue thread locker :dunno
-
I've used HOT glue
:dunno
Edit - damn autocorrect. Anyway, drop of hot glue on the threads and tighten the ball top while the glue is still pliable.
-
I use this:

-
maybe some rubber/pvc/electrical tape on the thread would be enough

I just had the same exact issue. My fix was some loctite on the threads, problem solved!
-
if you dont ever need to get the balltop off again u might as well use one of the many available metal/steel epoxy putty products

Blue loctite all the way.
I use it mine. Works great.
I bought it in a small Chapstick like tube.
-
That stick of blue loctite.... is it a thick texture? I have some regular blue liquid locktite but hate using it cause its so runny and even a single drop spreads out everywhere.
-
The blue Chapstick style stuff doesn't run at all and the ball tops are completely stable after. Not spinning off but if you really need to get them off, you can
-
Its like the consistency of Chapstick.
Not runny in the least.
Works great.
Sorry for the double post. My phone flaked
-
It sucks the stuff is $15 to only need 4 drops of the stuff lol
-
$15 ????
I picked up a stick once for a dollar or two at the counter of home depot
-
wow, a quick google search and looks like it is more expensive than I remembered.
If you already have the runny stuff, just use it with an acid brush.

squirt a little in small cap or something and use the acid brush to spread a small amount on the joystick thread.
