Title: please help me identify a long lost arcade game...
Post by: H2obuffalo on November 15, 2015, 03:45:20 pm
Hi all,

I am trying to remember the name of an old 80's arcade game.

It was a large cab with a big screen and a big burly machine gun turret for control.

You blast away at incoming jets helicopters and tanks that are attacking your base.

The really neat feature was that the first person viewpoint looks around as your sights remain centered.

I just can not remember the name.

Please help  ???

Cheers!

Combat?

Edit: Nevermind, the screen doesn't move around. It also sounds like Turret Tower but that's from 2000.

Nope not those, this one had raster graphics,
it was not a light gun but a large yoke with analogue input as you swung this "Gun" the whole screen scrolls around
your view. Very immersive  ;D
I think you had missiles but mostly machine gun fire. colorful raster graphics and smoothe scrolling.
any other guesses?
thanks

It must be Danger Zone or it's sequel, Viper.
