Title: How to Select Which Games MAME Stretches to Fill the Screen--SOLVED
Post by: lisowskikevin on November 13, 2015, 11:18:53 am
Hey guys,

I'm running a slew of horizontal and vertical games in my MAME. I don't like the stretch option in MAME for vertical games because they weird however horizontal games look great as they now fill the screen. Anyway to adjust MAME so that I can manually set the resolution of my vertical games?

I figured out how to do it.

I open MAMEUIFX and select the game ROM that I want to adjust. Then I right click the game ROM and go into settings where I can now check a box that says "Force Aspect Ratio".

Voila. I do this for every game that I don't want MAME to stretch.

I like most of my MAME games stretched because it fills the screen and still looks great, but the vertical games look terrible when they fill the screen.
