Below, I have a picture of the original fan that came in my Zaxxon cab. If you notice, there are the electrical input specs on the yellow sticker. I got the fan running by plugging it into a wall outlet using a hacked donor cord. During the minute long test, I didn't feel anything get hot to the touch. Will this work plugged into a standard outlet over a long period? Or does it need something different?
The fan runs strong and silent, so I'd really like to be able to use this to vent heat out of my cab. Any help is appreciated, thanks! :)

Judging by the specs on the sticker you should be fine its rated for 115v ac and household current is 115v\120v so ya your good but my question is why is that little fan running on ac all the arcade fans ive ever seen run on 12v dc

"Muffin" fans like this were commonly used for electronic equipment/stereo cabinet cooling back in the 70's.
Various models were designed for 115 VAC, 5 VDC, or 12 VDC.
