Title: Can someone explain...
Post by: justjoe on November 12, 2015, 10:13:41 am
Ive got a dynamo solitare challenge game. Was wondering if anyone could explain this cpu system. Id like to hook to it and maybe change the game... I can flash new roms and I see its a dos system. Just wondering if anyone has done this..

Can't say for that specific hardware but it's been done for others. Ms. Pac is probably one of the more famous examples. DK3 is probably another. I can't find a manual for it but 8t looks like it's shared hardware. Hard to say.

Without the manual or schematics, I'd poke around the MAME source for that specific game and see what I can deduce from it. I'd use it as a dev platform as well to save ROM burns.

Not looking promising unless things have changed since 0.152. (pic shows sorted by driver)

Tournament Solitaire is the only game that uses the "pcat_dyn.c" driver.   :dunno

Is tournament solitaire and solitaire challenge the same game?
