While not super hot, i picked up heatsinks for my RPI2's because i feel better having them there when I overclock them.

Didn't watch it all, but did he ever bring up the fact that their was a wireless dongle plugged into the Raspberry Pi 1.  It didn't seem like it for the parts I watched, but then would mention that the RPi1 USB controller was the hottest component on both boards and of course the RPi1 drew more power.
