Title: Compile retroarch for GroovyArcade
Post by: pakoman on November 06, 2015, 10:25:45 am
Hi there.

I'm configuring my GroovyArcade setup with 2 emulators in mind: GroovyMame as a general emulator and Retroarch for those systems where Mame struggles or has no support at all, like PSP, 32X or PC-FX, so I can have the best of both worlds with only having to deal with the configuration and files of 2 emulators.

Does anybody compiled the latest binaries of RetroArch for use with GroovyArcade and may paste a download link?

Cheers!

Hi pakoman,

I don't have those binaries, however it shoudn't be too hard to build them, ask Ves for the latest beta, it should have the most recent gcc compiler built in, and maybe create a virtual machine from the iso to build from there.

Thanks, Calamity. I'll try that and ask Ves for access to the latest beta. Already tried to compile myself under VirtualBox and Archlinux but I can't even log or install a graphic desktop. I was thinking on trying with Manjaro or other more user friendly Archlinux based distros.
