Title: Big video card inside weecade?

Hi guys im on my journey to completing a weecade clone before the Christmas eve. A bartop that could run street fighter V and some heavy emulation.

I'm wondering if i could fit a high profile video card inside a 1:1 weecade clone(degenatron plan)?

If you are having problems with the location of the card inside the system you could get the proper length extender/riser cable (would have to check the placement and see how long of a cable you need to place the card there) so you could mount the card elsewhere and run the cable to the MOBO. That way the card could be laid down to face the same direction as the MOBO and not need as much height but may still need some playing with to get to fit but would at least allow more options.

The unshielded extenders worked quite well however, they will cause considerable trouble if they are near EMI sources like power bricks or have additional riser cables on top of the other.

shielded riser cables are more expensive (about 100 bucks each), but are much much more immune to these types of interference.

Thanks for all of your input i guess i wont know yet maybe ill draft something out of sketchup's warehouse if all else fails i'll just have to do some minor adjustments on the plans  :cheers:
