Title: FREE - Mitsubishi 35" AM-3501R RGB monitor - Indianapolis, IN - US
Post by: Hoopz on November 03, 2015, 11:52:42 am
LOCAL PICK UP ONLY - Indianapolis (Southside)

Mitsubishi AM-3501R monitor.  Works well.  I'll throw in a AGP video card and cable that you can use to connect it.

Like my junk, this thing is large and heavy. I'll help load it but you'll need something larger than a car to haul it.

Mods - Yes, I know we have a Free Thread and yes, I posted there and yes, I'm posting twice about this thing.  I'm trying to get rid of it without junking it.  And since most of the other members here don't follow the rules in the Free Thread, I'm justifying this second thread.  I've given away more than my share of things over the years so cut me a little slack with this thing please.   ;D

I own one of these, and I will say that anyone with the space and fortitude to acquire it would be a lucky soul to have it in their possession.

It is a monster, but if you really, really want to play true light gun games, it's a fantastic monitor for the job.  It also has PC inputs, IIRC, and will also do some higher VGA resolutions.

I'm using my larger and heavier 37" Mitsubishi for my light gun setup, but will never get rid of my 35".  I might need it someday :)

I live KY and if I had a way to take it I would do so in a heartbeat.  By far the best monitor I have ever owned.  And that includes all the PVMs and XM29s and other super-duper-premium monitors I've owned.

The thing about this monitor is the curved screen and more antiquated shadow mask design make it pretty much perfect for displaying retro games.

YES!  I didn't see this until now.  Let me know and it's yours!  Sorry, I forgot about this thread.

I really don't want to junk this thing.

You may not be able to PM until you post a couple of more times.  So... just reply here a couple more times.  No need to be insightful, we thrive on stupid posts.
