Title: How to setup a wheel in nullDC?
Post by: xela on October 28, 2015, 07:43:02 am
Hello,

Can someone please explain how to setup a wheel (I have the Thrusmaster T500RS) in nullDC?
works perfect the Sega model 2 and 3 but in the nullDC it looks like the pedals are pressed all the time.

thank you.

From the stickied driving cab info thread:

       nullDC 1.0.4 r50 w/PuruPuru plugin(included) -  (http://code.google.com/p/nulldc/) Dreamcast (Hydro Thunder, SF Rush 2049)
Configuring the controls can be difficult due to the pedals registering while
you are trying to program the other buttons.  Combine the pedals and
decrease the sensitivity during configuration, then change it back when
you are done. Gas=Rshoulder, Brake=Lshoulder on most games.

Thank you, but I already read it and followed the instructions before posting the question, but I still have a problem.
It looks like the gas is pressed permanently and I can't change it.
The middle pedal acts like reverse and not like a break.

The middle pedal acts like reverse and not like a break.

In some games when the brake is fully depressed, the car goes in reverse.
Sounds like the pedal is inverted.

You said "middle pedal", so I assume that means you also have a clutch pedal.
Try to keep the clutch pedal exactly halfway depressed when mapping the other controls.
Turning the sensitivity way down or off should help.
