Title: MAME kicking out of game into desktop while still running in background
Post by: lisowskikevin on October 22, 2015, 07:52:36 pm
Anyone else run into this problem....sometimes when playing with 1 or 2 friends my MAME (run through Hyperspin), will kick out of the game and into the desktop screen. I then have to select Alt Tab to get back into the game which is still running. None of my keys are mapped to Alt Tab so there is no way that they are being pressed while multiple people hit keys at the same time.

Is there another key combo that would cause this?

Do you have Tab as a shifted function?
(P1 Start + P1 right default on I-Pac is Tab)

Nice thinking but I did double check and I did disable the shift keys on my IPAC. I am going to try to recreate the button presses to see what exactly is causing the issue. To be honest though, my computer has been playing nice with the IPAC. Some of my IPAC inputs will not even register so I had to map them to other working inputs on the IPAC.

Andy has been awesome with his customer support but I think there is something in my computer that is fighting the IPAC. Which is odd because I don't have much installed on my computer.
