Saint is going to come in with the Trump card the billing invoice for the domain or this:

Anyway, I looked at mine, it's close to HC's. I was on hiatus for awhile between the "old board" and what we have here. Still no real arcade monitor. Boxes of arcade controls though.
-
Didn't it use to also state your total time logged onto the site?
I think I remember not feeling good about that one.
EDIT: It's under Show Stats
119 days, 19 hours and 55 minutes.

Congrats, you old timers. ;D

Yeah there are still a handful of us, aside from saint and the founders of course, that are holdouts from the old board. I think on that one it was 2000-ish? Maybe late 99?

Out of curiosity I took a look at my "registered date". Looks like Howard's got me beat, but not by much. I knew I had been on this forum for quite awhile now. It certainly doesn't feel like it's been 13 years though. As you can see by my post count, I'm more of a "lurker" than a "poster". But hey, this one will get me to 200. Woo hoo!

Hehe, your first post:
I am hacking a Hewlett Packard multimedia keyboard for an interface. Does anyone know of a site where I can find the keyboard matrix for this? (I'm lazy and don't feel like mapping it out.)
Thanx... :)
Man, hacking up keyboards for their encoders...that is definitely something I remember from years ago.

Oooooooh, The Founders. Sounds like a secret society.

Haha, yeah. I had hardly any money back then, poor college student living off ramen noodles, lol

Unless you are 'catfishing' your ages some of these Founders almost look too young to have been in a proper arcade. >:D
-
Lol my first post was about BG music bug in Mala 4 years ago....
Guess what it still isn't fixed
If I ever get around to "finishing" that MAME cab I'm going with a different front end.

What part of secret society don't you understand? It's a little known fact that immortal vampire zombie waremen are big fans of arcades. ;)

Well, you do rarely sleep.

Wow I didn't know they had emulators back then. :P

Howard has me by a few weeks. Date Registered: March 19, 2002, 09:19:37 pm
I think I qualify for the founders club :applaud:
-
Well there was a whole other board before this one. It had been around a full year before I joined.
So I'm not a founder.
Those people Saint thanks on the main website... you know the one that HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN 5 YEARS (sorry Saint) Most of those guys were there since the beginning.
-
9 years for me. I had to try to recall, but here is a quick tally of my builds:
Full size upright conversions to mame: 11
Driving Games to mame: 1
Cocktail cabinet: 2
Bartops: 6
Building 2 right now ;D
-
Nice. I just have my original one I built 12 years ago. Lugged it around for years. But now I'm looking to update the panel with some leds and run hyperspin.
Going to be building a driving one next.
-
So...are we all part of the "old timer's club" then?
