I'm having a nightmare with Winzip at the moment, and specifically the installation of MAMEWAH. I've downloaded the zip install file from MAMEWAH site - and unzip the files, to a temporary "installer file" - I get 3 files appearing - Mamewah.cab, setup.exe and setup.LST. But when I click on the setup.exe file, to insall the full program it doesn't seem to install some files - specifically, I'm not getting a LAYOUTS File appear. Am I doing something wrong? Or have things changed?
I'm trying to install into Windows XP Home. Someone has suggested I try using Winrar. (Not sure if its related, but I notice that Winzip doesn't recognise the zip file that I've downloaded from Mamewah's site - I have to manually find it).
Any feedback, assistance appreciated.
Cheers

The latest installer is not a zipfile, it is a self-extracting .exe. Anyway, you seem to have extracted it fine, and have the 3 neccessary files...
There are NO layout files in the download, so it is correct that none appear. MAMEWAH now utilises a built-in layout (Classic 640x480) by default, and if you wish to use other layouts you have to set those up yourself...why? Because this way only people who want to have to setup the Layouts structure.
You can download Layouts.zip from my download page if you like which includes the Classic layout at various resolutions. Just unzip that file (using WinZip) into the MAMEWAH folder (make sure 'Use folder names' is ticked).
Hope that helps :)
