Title: Best Setting for Pal TV
Post by: Giddygoon on October 09, 2015, 04:06:28 am
Hi Calamity,

I have bought two 14" CRT TVs which are plugged via Scart into the Ultimate Scart Adapter then goes to an Arcade Vga card putting out CGA 15khz

The picture is great on both but I'm using an INI file from another arcade cab with the generic_31 setting

Should I change this too Pal TV?

Or something else for best fit?

Thanks again for any help

Personally, I would try the generic_15 preset and, if that works fine, try your luck with arcade_15. Most SCART TVs with be fine with this.

Out of the 50 to 100 SCART TVs I've tested, only one was stricly PAL only. Really, most SCART TVs can sync to anything in the PAL to NTSC range so it's better to use one of the presets mentioned.

Out of interest, what brands are your two TVs?

The brand of TV's is a Bush 1485 14" I use these for cocktails tables as they have memory from power on.... So it's jumps straight to last channel selected which in my case is AV 1

Great picture too

Thanks for info
