Ok, the Cab I have has a wooden Chassis for the monitor it looks like. Problem is I do not like the angle, so I figured I would take it out.
So I bought me a square bit for my screw driver and then took out all of the screws. However, it appears to be glued in there, or is there any chance the original makers used some staples.
Anyway, has anyone had something like that happen and if so what did they do?
I know a lot made their own cabinets, but some have converted older cabinets.

I've messed around with a few old cabinets and they could be held on with anything there. More than likely its some some of adhesive. Take the screws out and knock at the wood with a hammer to try to get it to break the adhesive and come off.
Some times you can't be friendly since you have no idea what is holding it. You shouldn't be able to damage anything though, these old cabs are pretty tough.

The wooden monitor supports in commercial arcade games are usually glued, screwed, AND stapled in place.

Try and get a flat head screw driver or chisel between the supports and the side panel - give it a few taps and see how you go. If you can pry it away from the side enough you may be able to see where the staples are and concentrate on those areas.
Good luck

Thanks guys, I will try that CD I should have thought of that to begin with.
I am getting close to getting started on my CP. I have some ideas about what I want to do and once I really get started will take some pics and post them on my 10 free megs of space with Bellsouth.
