I just bought a cheap touchscreen on ebay it was a Touch International 57-190sa-031-1tr21. I am hoping that I can use this conjunction with one of my old computers to build a jukebox. So far I have had no luck in finding documentation for this screen, but I will see what I get in the package when it arrives. The screen was cheap enough that I won't feel too bad if it doesn't work out.
I have a whole lot of research to do to figure out what OS to use and how, which jukebox software to use and so on.

My touchscreen juke is my favorite project. Good luck!

yotsuya, did you make a thread on your build?
Can you give me any tips for getting started? What type of hardware and software did you use?

Hi Max, sorry for the late reply. I didn't do a build thread on it because I don't generally do one for everything I do. I did take pictures and share them with some friends here whose opinions I value, so if you want to see them, I'd be happy to send them to you. Basically I built a wall mount jukebox that is hooked into an existing home theater system. So there's no speakers built in, but the rooms wired for surround sound and it sounds great. It's my favorite build project.

The big challenge right now is for me to get some documentation on this screen. Right now I have no idea what the power requirements are or anything.

Good luck with your project.
I have built two mountain clones, (links in my signature below).
Very challenging and fun projects.

Still no luck in finding any info o this screen I bought on ebay. Here is what the screen was listed as "19" Curved touchscreen screen Touch International 57-190sa-031-1tr21".
I even tried emailing the support at Touch international and requesting a wiring diagram, but got no response from them.
I might have to break down and buy a touch screen computer monitor for this project.

OK, I looked at the screen on eBay. Did it come with a controller box, probably white? Without that, you can't do anything with that screen.
Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Megatouch-XL-or-Maxx-Microtouch-Touchscreen-Controller-/201183711384?hash=item2ed77bd098:m:mPLP8HoTtZg7kUPdrL5xguw (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Megatouch-XL-or-Maxx-Microtouch-Touchscreen-Controller-/201183711384?hash=item2ed77bd098:m:mPLP8HoTtZg7kUPdrL5xguw)
