Hi I recently bought my first cab (Xybots) which I am trying to restore.
On the coin door one of the assemblies is absent the other isn’t working and appears to have pieces that are badly bent.
Here are a couple of pics of the coin assemblies for my machine. (not my machine in pic)

I was wondering would this coin mech holder/cradle (see attachment 3) make a good replacement?

(I will also order the s10 coin mechs that I need)
Thanks for any replies cheers

Those are for a Happ coin door. Its a different assembly altogether.

Oh I see. I noticed on the suzo happ page the individual metal parts that look very similar to mine were for sale but they were quite expensive and one of the bits I need (coin return lever) was not available. Thanks for your reply.

Just give me a solid picture of your door and I can probably just sell you a complete working replacement.

Hi PaigeOliver,
I would certainly like to buy a replacement assembly if you have something available. Here are some pics of my door with the inner parts removed:

I hope these pics are clear enough, the upper door removed from the frame seems to measure 9.5" by 6.5", it looks similar to a wells gardner over/under door. Do you think you might have the correct parts for this door? Cheers.
Just enjoying Airplane on youtube now.

You have the top half of a common over/under door. The labels suggest to me that you are someplace that shipping of the used door would outweigh the value of the door. If your door is incomplete then it will generally be cheaper to just replace the whole thing with a used one and not buy the pieces.

Im in Scotland and youre right, the cost of postage from the US for a coin door is usually greater that the price of the door itself.
These doors are not readily available here in the UK so I might just bite the bullet on the postage costs. This is an expensive hobby Im beginning to learn. Cheers for your reply.

It's good to catch on early. Too many people fail to realize the amount of money this hobby can take until they are deep into it.
