Title: Mala with transparent layers on top of videos...can it be done?

i'd like to have a transparent layer that sits on top of my video box, much like i can with the snapshots.  when i try this, it looks like it is good in the layout editor, but when i launch mala, the video always plays on top.  is there a way to fix this? 

also, for a specific layout i am doing, i'd love to be able to have multiple video/snapshot boxes that are duplicates of each other....is there a way to do that?  For instance, i'd like to have the same video preview playing multiple times in the layout.

is there any chance of this working?

Videos always play on top. I don't know of any workaround for this.

You can recode a video and insert the overlay you need. It was easy to add a horizontal console part for my DS video.
