Hey all. Im rebuilding an old 32bit pc and just want to compile mame with the no nag and high score diff. Ive had no problem doing this in the past for my 64 bit builds.
I am running on a 64 bit pc, trying to compile a 32 bit version of mame. Ive used both mr dos tutorial, and headkazes compiler. I cant imagine what im doin wrong. I have included a screen shot which shows my mingw folder, the error that mame compiler gives me, and the error that "makemame" gives me in command prompt.

I can apply the patch no problem. But when trying to create the exe it fails. I had the commant prompt running for a while like its working, but then just fails. I dont know where to start

I find that I have to run the compiler 3 or 4 times before it copletes without error. Dunno if that's common or your problem but for me eventually it goes through.
