HI.
I am new to this forum, but at first glance it seems very friendly and informative... so I am hoping that you can help me with a problem.
I have a 1973 Rowe international heritage R1-1 Duke box.. It has latetly started to play the same record over and over, slowly getting worse.. now that is all it does. Any help on possible cause and how to fix it would be gratefully received.
I do have a manual, but it is not very discriptive, and it assumes you have worked on these before..

Hello welcome to the forum.
Are you saying that the jukebox always plays this record if not even selected or that if selected it plays it, puts it back into the basket and then plays it repeatedly?
In both cases it could be that one of the pins on the search unit is not being reset or is frozen in place.
For testing search units it is best done with the search unit removed from the mechanism and placed on the jukebox floor so you can push back in the pins and also see them being pushed out.

Thanks for your reply... I can manually change by rotating the caramel. But whatever record I set it to will continually be replayed.. It does take it off and replace it back onto the turntable..

It is the same on a sides and B sides?
Have you tried changing any parts yet? if not I would suggest changing the stop plate assembly.
