No, I'm pretty sure he's tracked down some hard to find Amiibos.

Sweet. There is nothing quite like a road trip to pick up a game.

I'm the only Canadian that thinks Tim Horton's coffee is brown water. I get it from a business standpoint - you add too much flavour and some wiener complains. The dark roast is, I'm pretty sure, the same coffee as the regular brew. Never admit you don't like Timmies to a construction worker. Apparently your life is worth less than the honour of their preferred sub $2 coffee!
So what is it you're getting? 17 hours is a long way for an arcade but I like road trips so I would likely do it myself. Although that stretch of highway is not high on my list of fun road trips (I really like the drive across Vancouver Island to Tofino for example.)

nothing beats sitting down and thinking while on the can. And some like to $h1t and stink but I prefer to scratch my bolls and read all the BS on that walls :lol

Please make sure you live blog the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- you take after you eat those eggs. For posterity's sake.

This reminds me of my Route 66 trip earlier this summer. The roads were straight for miles and miles and miles! Good memories!

Well, I knew that country was a barren wasteland but I'm disappointed at the lack of snow, eskimos, and penguins.
Keep us updated.

Man, why do red tents always look like hell when people find them?
I never really see any that people cared for.
Lucky you, I'm still looking for my first one.
-
Forget the tent that Dangar was the jewel. I would have snatched that up in a heartbeat!

-
Lol! And you thought it was a long drive for you!
EDIT: You ARE crazy, its only two hours further from where I live in Oklahoma to get to Regina SK.

Why the hell didn't you grab that Dangar too when driving that far in the first place? But I kind of knew it was a red tent the very first moment i read this post. Nice find!
Btw: I possess a working Ufo Robo Dangar PCB.

Well, if it's genuinely worth anything, and you've posted in KLOV about it, one of them already beat the seller down to $50 and hauled it away into their grandmothers garage - never to be seen again.

Yeah, and you should have taken that drug and banged that girl when you had that chance, too.

Nope Im straight edge bro, no drugs here. Im pretty sure I banged all the woman that would let a ginger near their lady bits before I got married, so no regrets there either!
I just really like Arkanoid.

I just want to say that I partially agree with the title of this thread.

Under the yoke? Hmmmm.. sparks usually equals flyback, but under the yoke is odd. Is it loose?
-
Wait, what did you plug the monitor into? You used an iso, right?

how much you wanna bet if i pull that yoke off i'll find charred corrosion under that coil?
Hopefully that's ALL you find...
-
Oh, and I've gotten to the point where I just cap the monitor first before I fire it up. Saves time.

^THIS
Cap the monitors BEFORE firing it up. When caps are at wrong values due to age and leakage it affects the electronic properties. This can for example increase a frequency somewhere in the circuit causing higher voltages to be generated and thereby blow the damn thing to kingdom come.

Great thread, but yea, I agree. I could never drive that far for a cab. Btw, about what parts of OK you live in?

Tulsa area, Claremore.
