Hello.
Trying to fix a NSM Emerald Ice Jukebox with error code P041
I'm led to believe this is a dead battery associated with the RAM chip
Is it possible to 'cut' out the old battery and solder in a external battery pack to prove this, and what voltage does it require, maybe 3-5V?
Any other solutions or ideas gratefully appreciated
Cheers, Bob.

hi esv technology
error code p41=decline machine code number,maximum 4 digits (0)
btw if u had it serviced as of late or just bought it that way ??
the control board or memory chip's in it are for a performer grand
that info is right out of the nsm good book

Hi Ed
thanks very much for your help.
I bought it recently and all worked fine until one day i turned it on and got this error.
I think i might try a RAM module as its going to need a new one sooner or later, i report back if it fixes it
best regards
