Couldn't you just rotate the tube inside the cage? :dizzy:
-
And actually, I know the 60-1 has a flip screen option. Did you check the documentation on your ArcadeSD?

Not having cracked open the monitor in my DK....I was scarred to suggest this exact thing.

Right after I posted that, I remembered the flip option on the JAMMA card. I'm pretty sure that's it.

Interesting, I just checked, and there is NO screen flipping on the ArcadeSD. But there is on the 60-1. Go figure.

How about this thread:

And on the 2nd page of that thread, someone links to 3 other pages for help as well.
This page in particular:

No, it's pretty clear on KLOV that board does not, nor will it ever have, screen flip installed. ChanceKJ is going to have to mess with the wiring.
-
I also immediately thought his board might be in some sort of 2-player cocktail mode.
-
No, some monitors are like that. That's why many JAMMA boards have the option to flip.

I'm really stuck on trying to figure out why this happened in the first place.
Easy, it's all in how the Sanyo is wired and the way the signal is being output by the board.
Hook up your 60-1, but switch the dip that will flip the image. Should work just fine. The ArcadeSD unfortunately doesn't allow that.
In a Dynamo JAMMA cab, it wouldn't be a problem, you'd just physically rotate the monitor (they're designed for that). A DK, not so much

Interesting development. So yep this is definitely an "issue" with the ArcadeSD. As in yes, it lacks the ability to flip the image, and it looks like on the 20EZ's we need to either rotate the monitor or flip the yoke wires.
I tested it by putting in another game and checking the orientation. This is kinda lame. I really wish this was an option on the ArcadeSD. kinda a bit of a fail here.

Anyone have good instructions for flipping the 20EZ via the yoke wires? I've read about a few people botching it. I just wanna be sure i'm switching the right colours.
Didn't someone on KLOV suggest what wires to swap?
Oh, and I was saying this 7 hours ago... :-)

No, something about cutting the yoke? ...im not sure i want to tinker with that on this monitor. I'd much rather follow the proper instructions from someone who can tell me what wires need to go where.
Oh, and you do get full credit for leading me in that direction Paul. Thanks for that,
Take their advice and check out Bob Roberts ' s site.

Got you hooked up, bro.
