Title: crt emudriver windows 8.1 or 10

does crtemudriver work with windows 8.1 or 10? I am on xp 32 right now and tried xp64 never could get all my programs working with that. tried 7 64bit and I have a d9800 monitor so the boot screen no sync made me give up on that. should I just stay on xp32? when I had windows 7 64 running I didn't see night and day differences on anything. does 8.1 have the same boot screen resolution? will atom-15 flashed to my ati card fix the boot screen.

I have a 3.3 ghz core 2 duo
Biostar ATI Radeon HD 4890
3tb sata drive
4 gigs ram , plus 4 more I can add if 64bit

Yes, flashing your ATI card with Atom-15 will provide you with a 15 kHz boot screen. The custom drivers only kick-in once Windows has loaded. That's why you didn't notice any change to the boot screen with your various installations.
