After almost a year I finally have more progress to show.
1) Painted sides and front. Added primer to side to prep for sticker art.
2) Mounted monitor and testing buttons and joystick. All works!!! YES!
3)Hyper spin is set up. And that took several all nighters at the computer.
Need to add plexi and Marquette and side art.
What I know now. I would have purchased one of those bartops online. Hahah

MAN after a few years I finally finished (mostly) my first build. HAHA
When I do my next build I'll have a lot more knowledge to base it off of. I did a super simple Vigolix build but made it much larger to fit 8 buttons and 2 controllers.
I followed the Green Machine's advice on buying the tinted plexi and masking off and spray painting the border and that looks dam good. Ended up just spray mounting the duratrans print to the plexi. It's not the best but works. Should have done the Tmolding but just cut the vinyl print flush. I did a fake carbon fiber on the control panel. That turned out not bad for my first build.
Made a TON of mistakes on the wood work but it works.
The hardest part by far was setting up the Hyper spin part of the arcade...that took countless all nighters. HAHA IT was dam rough...rec buying that thing from one of the sites offering up the pre made drives.
Picked up a light gun and have a few of the shooting games working on the laptop but need to calibrate the light gun. Picked up a holster from Amazon and will be gluing it to the side of the Vigolix.
WAnted to thank all the support from this forum in my first build. NO WAY I could have done this with out the countless videos and tutorials. This was a project mainly for me showing my son how the "old days" were and he's eating up the old games.
Thanks again and when i start my next project I'll be back! Probably a virtual pinball machine with a huge flat screen in it. LOL One day right?

Clean build. I'm planning on making an over-the-top, flashy build after I finish up my toxie cabaret. Trying to decide if I want to go this route or go the way of the Flynn's arcade.
People are gonna give you crap for the 8 buttons but if you're playing any modern fighter the extra 2 are good to have.

My neck hurts. Spin those bad boys round and I'll take a look.
