- It can help you align for straight drilling
- It can help you guadge drill depth
- It works with any drill
- It works in any orientation

It's not available yet but for the right price, it could be worth it.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It HAS to be cheap...in order to fix a "cheap" problem. There are some rare occasions where you can't use a drill press and drilling a very straight hole is necessary. Having this handy tool could give you added guidance.

If I'm playing the Price is Right game...I'd say $14.99 tops.

Personally, I don't yet own a drill press. 90% of the time, I can get away with slightly less than perfect drill holes, but that other 10% of the time, I find myself longing for a press. Something like this would be far cheaper.

Of course, it is only an aiming system. You still need a steady hand.

I honestly thought I would use them once and in the cabinet they would go never to be seen again but I have used them quite a bit. I also have a floor standing drill press, but these still get used when the press would be a PITA or I dont want to bring the project to the garage. I use the tap guides a lot also. Being able to use them on round stock and corners is a big bonus.
