For the restoration of my twin dayto cab, I am looking for the "road burning action" and number "1 to 8 " vectorized and original sized back seat decals.
If i could have a link or file transfer proposal via PM that would be awesome :)
Thank you guys for your help!

I'm in! Need those too...
Or at least some details on how to reproduce them... ^^
-
Andy Geezer usually has some if anyone is in the UK:

attached the pics if anyone wants to recreate them

Someone has already done the work. I couldn't find it on the site, but didn't have much time to look.

That's Mikonos. Not interested in paying through the nose and supporting a banned forum member...
In Aug I'll have some time to work in the Road Burning Action one myself if a decent copy can't be found.

If a person wasn't worried about them being 100% accurate, those could be done in photoshop rather quickly as soon as the font is found. It's the dithering that would be hard to replicate without painstakingly vectorizing every dot.

Perhaps this will help?

Thank you guys for the interest and your replies
La Chuck I did contact Mikonos, no file sharing possible, only a buying proposal (75 bucks? seriously wtf ??? )
Thanks Boomslang, I also found Big Panic's post on gamoover. I think I ll use his scans and ask my father to rework and vectorize them.
As soon as it's finished I ll be happy to share the work here ;)

Dithering isn't that hard, but it is tricky and somewhat counterintuitive in Photoshop. Definetly takes a while to dial it in.

Dithering isn't hard... doing the same dithering as another random graphic is.

Got these cleaned up a bit, unsure of the exact size they need to be at, if anybody can help out with measurements I can upload high res versions. Unsure also if my colors are correct. I think these look alright. Comments?

Nice job Chuck!! :applaud: Will need some when I get to that point for my racing twins!
-
Hi Le Chuck
you have a number two perhaps?
Thank you
-
Le Chuck, these look awesome! Where did you find them?
-
Find'em? I built'em. I'll get a 2 uploaded soonish. Just saw this thread is active again
-
Thanks le chuck.
One consideration , the sizes are correct , but the disposition of the flags not, in the original checkered flag barely touches the R and the U.S.A. It goes right too. Maybe if you upload a vector i can reload with the corrections. Thank you
-
hi le chuck
looking forward to seeing the number 2 here as well
have you got any other daytona graphics - vr button info, dials etc?
cheers
mick

I haven't forgotten about this, I'm in the middle of moving the family and household up a few states.
