Title: The Mini Cab is done - Well just about :-)
Post by: Bobby115 on January 03, 2004, 11:54:10 pm
Here is my new Mini Cabinet. I have to give a big thanks to Charlie at http://gamecab.com for building the cab and for all the help designing it and (3dmacman) for designing the art!

The PC inside is a PIII 733 with 512 megs of ram running Windows 98 - MAME32 and  Arcade Jukebox 8. It's also housing a 19" Sony PC monitor inside.

The artwork was printed on Adhesive Vinyl by the guys at classicarcadegrafix.com

Charlie at Gamecab designed this thing with everything in mind.......It's on wheels and has a detachable base and also vents for some extra fans. He did a great job on the control panel as well. Its the perfect size to sit on a chair and play or sit on my couch LOL ..Make sure to checkout his webpage.............He does great work !

Only thing left is getting a small pair of speakers that sound really good (Any recommendations?) and to install the T-Molding.....................

Here are some pics....................Feedback is welcome.........

Nice to see my artwork in use. Very nice, I like the size of it.  Could easily be moved around and won't take up to much space. Where did you get the artwork printed? Looks nice!

Very compact!  I like it--Rounding the corners just makes it easy for the T-molding to go on and looks a little better IMHO than square corners--more arcade-ish--but its your baby--do what makes you happy ;D
